| Firstly, someone who will become a good friend whatever else may or may not transpire. A lady with whom to spend time doing things together both in public and private. My ideal would be a lady with whom I was compatible both personally, socially and physically, and to enjoy discovering all aspects of her character. A lady with a healthy appetite for the physical side of a relationship, but for whom the cerebral and social sides were equally as stimulating, interesting, exciting, enjoyable and satisfying. I am a firm believer in old-fashioned courtesies, and that means putting a lady's 'interests' first, whether it be opening doors for her or something much more intimate. | Although 67 I am still working, as I have since I left full-time employment 14 years ago, as a 'freelance consultant' in the world of education. I intend to continue working for as long as I enjoy it. But being freelance means that, in general, I can choose when I work and when I play. Daytime, evening and weekend meetings are equally possible, (as are overnights and long weekends too). I hope I am what I am led to believe a lady likes a man to be, confident but not arrogant. I've been told that I have an outrageous sense of humour, but probably most importantly, I can laugh at myself. Still, for a number of reasons, in a marriage from the intimate side of which the other half opted out almost as soon as she got the ring on her finger decades ago, as a result of which for many a long year there's been nothing, physical or emotional, left. During that time I've had a few very successful relationships with some wonderful ladies, and I know what pure pleasure they can be, which is why I would definitely like another. From reading the profiles of a number of ladies, I get the impression that they are fed up with meeting men who, once they have 'indulged' in one way or another, immediately start having enormous guilt trips. Rest assured, that isn't me! |

| I am just about 6ft tall, still have a fairly full head of non-greying hair, and almost all my own teeth! While I'm obviously no Adonis, I think my body is in good shape for my age, partly as the result of a daily work-out, and partly through sensible eating habits. I'm a firm believer in 'a little bit of what you fancy does you good'. I'm often told I don't look anywhere near as old as my age, as I hope my photo will prove. I hope also that while making use of all my experience, some of my 'physical activities' are those of a younger man too! |
